Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown. It begins as fully aged Elijah Craig Small Batch, which is then finished in a custom-toasted new oak barrel and bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV).

The finishing barrels are toasted with a slow, steady rise in heat and then given a quick flash of char, so they still qualify as charred new oak. Toasted oak and rich caramel open the nose. The palate brings spice and pepper around milk chocolate and a hint of smoke, and the finish is warming, with lingering chocolate and baking spices.
