Fernet Branca is an Italian bitter in the fernet style, produced by Fratelli Branca Distillerie in Milan. The house has made it in the city since 1845, and its recipe has remained unchanged throughout. It is bottled at 39% ABV (78 proof).

The formula gathers 27 herbs, spices and roots into a single spirit. Among them are cinchona, rhubarb, chamomile, saffron and myrrh, an apothecary's range of botanicals brought together in one composed Milanese bitter.
