Frey Ranch Farm Strength Uncut Bourbon
Frey Ranch Farm Strength Uncut Bourbon is a straight bourbon from Frey Ranch Distillery in Fallon, Nevada, released in small, numbered, non-chill filtered batches. It is bottled at cask strength, which varies from batch to batch.
The grain is raised on the Frey Ranch farm itself, then harvested, milled and distilled on site, with co-founder and whiskey farmer Colby Frey tending the crops. The four-grain mash bill is 66.6% dent corn, 11.4% winter rye, 10% winter wheat and 12% two-row barley. On the palate, birthday cake frosting and butter cake meet clove, orange creamsicle and dried stone fruit, and the finish closes on black cherry with a subtle trace of smoke.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (750 mL). Our shelf changes as bottles are poured and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
