Glenfarclas 17 Year Scotch Whisky comes from Glenfarclas Distillery in Speyside, bought by the Grant family on June 8, 1865. The seventeen-year-old single malt is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).

The family still runs Glenfarclas as an independent company, distilling twice in traditional direct-fired stills.

Butterscotch, sherried fruit and light peat smoke open the nose. The palate is full-flavored, with sherry sweetness, malt and a touch of peat smoke, and the long, smooth finish carries a hint of spice and more sherry sweetness.
