Glenfarclas 25 Year Scotch Whisky

Glenfarclas 25 Year Scotch Whisky is presented by the distillery as an after-dinner whisky, one whose finish goes on and on. Aged twenty-five years in Oloroso sherry casks of European oak, the Speyside single malt is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).

It is distilled twice in traditional direct-fired stills at a distillery the Grant family has run independently since 1865.

Marmalade, honey, fresh-ground coffee, sherry, nuts, oaky tannins and a delicate peat form the nose. The palate is full-bodied with sherry, oak and a nutty smokiness, and the finish is long and dry, lightly smoky and malty, with dark chocolate.
