Glenfiddich 12 Year Scotch Whisky
Glenfiddich 12 Year Scotch Whisky bears a name that is Gaelic for 'valley of the deer'. This Speyside single malt matures for twelve years in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, then mellows in oak marrying tuns before bottling at 40% ABV (80 proof).
William Grant founded the distillery in Dufftown, and its first spirit ran from the stills on Christmas Day 1887.
The nose is fresh and fruity with a hint of pear. Sweet fruit, butterscotch, cream, malt and subtle oak follow, and the finish is long, smooth and mellow.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (1 L). Our shelf changes as bottles are poured and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
