Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 Year Sherry Scotch Whisky

Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 Year Sherry Scotch Whisky is a Highland single malt from Glenmorangie Distillery in Tain, Ross-shire, founded in 1843. It begins its maturation in bourbon casks before moving into Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for a period of extra maturation, and it is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).

The distillery's stills, with necks that rise 5.14 meters, are credited with the lightness of its spirit. Warm spice, chocolate-covered raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee gather on the nose. The palate turns to sherried sultanas, orange, walnut and butterscotch, and the long finish carries spiced orange and chocolate-covered hazelnut.
