Green River U.S. Army 250th Anniversary Bourbon
Green River U.S. Army 250th Anniversary Bourbon is a limited-edition Kentucky straight bourbon made in partnership with the U.S. Army for its 250th anniversary. Green River Distilling Co. bottled it at 111.1 proof (55.55% ABV), a nod to Veterans Day on 11/11.
Released on June 14, 2025, it was small-batched from hand-selected barrels, and licensing fees support the Army's Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs. Its mash bill of 75% Kentucky-grown corn, 15% rye and 10% malted barley differs from the flagship Green River recipe. Cinnamon, dried cherry and light leather lead into a full-bodied palate of caramel, black cherry, cocoa and peppermint, and the bold finish shows toffee, toasted oak and light spice.
