Horse Soldier Small Batch Bourbon
Horse Soldier Small Batch Bourbon is the Signature expression of the Horse Soldier range from American Freedom Distillery, recognizable by its gold medallion. It is a wheated straight bourbon bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV).
The whiskey is blended from small batches of mature wheated bourbon and bottled without chill filtering. Butterscotch, ginger and cherries rise first on the nose. The palate settles into caramel and nutmeg, grounded by oak, and the finish is full-bodied and decadent.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (750 mL). Our shelf changes as bottles are poured and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
