Inkblot Cabernet Franc is a Lodi Cabernet Franc from Michael David Winery. The winery calls it the first Lodi Cabernet Franc it ever produced and one of the few made in the appellation. The grapes come from a nine-acre vineyard on the west side of Lodi, close to the winery. The current 2023 release was aged 18 months in French oak, 38% of it new.

For the 2023 vintage, the winery describes aromas of blackberry, fresh molasses cookie and cassis, with full-bodied flavors of cherry preserves and toasted cloves layered with hints of peppery spice and a lasting impression of concentration.
