Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Toro began as a 2009 event cigar so well received it entered regular production under Jaime García's name. An oily, dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covers Nicaraguan binder and filler, rolled in Nicaragua. Medium to full in body, it is one of the darkest, heartiest blends in the house, with earth, toasted oak, black pepper and a long mocha sweetness. The Toro measures 6 inches by 54 ring gauge.
The Toro is the reference size for the blend and the one most regulars reach for after dinner. From the Sun of a Gun bar it pairs with a bourbon, a dark rum or a sherried Scotch, and it is a natural with espresso. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the box of 20.
