Ketel One Vodka

Ketel One Vodka is made by the Nolet family at the Nolet Distillery in Schiedam, the Netherlands, founded in 1691 and run by 11 generations. It is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).

The 10th generation created Ketel One in 1983, naming it after the original copper pot still, Distilleerketel No. 1. Its wheat spirit combines column distillation with copper pot distillation and is then charcoal filtered.

The nose is clean and mineral, with wet flint and light white pepper. On the palate, cracked black pepper sits within a clean, silky-soft texture, leading to a crisp finish with a lively pepper tingle.
