Macallan 12 Year Double Cask Scotch Whisky is a Speyside single malt matured for a minimum of 12 years in sherry-seasoned oak of two kinds. American oak brings sweetness, while European oak adds dried fruit and spice.

Its color is entirely natural, drawn from the casks alone. Fudge and candied orange and lemon lead the nose, softened by vanilla and a light spice. The palate follows with milk-chocolate raisins, creamy toffee, orange peel and gentle spice, and the finish is of medium length, resting on sweet oak.
