Macallan 12 Year Sherry Oak Scotch Whisky is distilled in The Macallan's "Curiously Small Stills" and matured for at least 12 years in sherry-seasoned European oak casks on The Macallan Estate in Speyside. It is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).

All of its color comes naturally from the sherry casks. On the nose, dried fruit and candied citrus peel mingle with oak, ginger and nutmeg. Raisins and sultanas fill the palate with ginger syrup, sweet cinnamon and a hint of vanilla, and the finish is long, with oak and warming ginger.
