Macallan Art is the Flower Scotch Whisky

Macallan Art is the Flower Scotch Whisky is a Speyside single malt from The Macallan, matured in European oak casks seasoned with sherry from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. It carries no age statement and is bottled at 50.4% ABV (100.8 proof).

The whisky is a tribute to Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Its name comes from his 1902 lecture "Art is the Flower," quoted on the packaging, and its inspiration from his stained-glass panel "The Spirit of the Rose" from the same year. It is one of two whiskies in The Macallan x Charles Rennie Mackintosh collection, alongside The Tree of Life.

Raisin, fig, cherry and polished oak open the nose with almond, orange and treacle. Sweet oak, vanilla, ginger and apple follow, touched by tea leaf, before a long, rich finish.
