Fonseca Mexico Edition Cedros is the maduro sibling of Fonseca by My Father. An oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper, finished by the Garcías in their own facilities, covers Nicaraguan binder and filler grown, fermented and processed by the family. Rolled in Nicaragua at 6 1/4 inches by 52, it is full-bodied and well balanced, with earth, black pepper, smoked hickory and sweet cocoa through the finish.
The Cedros is the classic Fonseca proportion, and the San Andrés wrapper gives it the sweetness to sit beside a bourbon, a dark rum or a coffee liqueur from the Sun of a Gun bar. It is a fine after-dinner cigar. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the box of 20.
