Ocho Plata Tequila is a single estate tequila blanco of fully mature, 100% blue agave, made at Los Alambiques distillery (NOM 1474) in Arandas, Los Altos, Jalisco. It is unaged and bottled at 40% ABV.

Each batch comes from one named field, or rancho, and a single vintage, both shown on the label. Master distiller Carlos Camarena co-founded the brand with Tomas Estes.

The nose brings cooked agave, bright citrus, white pepper, earth and fresh grass. Black pepper, mint and tropical fruit join cooked agave and earth on the palate, and the light-bodied finish is long and clean.

At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (1 L).
