Orphan Barrel 18 Year Woven Honor Scotch Whisky
Orphan Barrel 18 Year Woven Honor Scotch Whisky is a single malt from Linkwood Distillery, founded in 1821 on the outskirts of Elgin in the Scottish Highlands. It matured for 18 years in American oak barrels and is bottled at 46.3% ABV (92.6 proof).
Released exclusively in the US on October 1, 2024, it wears spider-web label art meant to symbolize precision and artistry. The nose is grassy and floral, with green apple, lemon zest, vanilla and honeycomb. Smooth and medium-bodied, the palate has a silken lightness, and the finish stays fresh, with a spring-like character.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (750 mL). Our shelf changes as bottles are poured and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
