Outerbound Pinot Noir is a Russian River Valley Pinot Noir from North Coast Wine Co. of Geyserville, California. The producer sources the wine from the Marcucci, Uptick and Esteca vineyards and describes Marcucci as one of the oldest Pinot Noir vineyards in the valley. Its most recent fact sheet, for the 2021 vintage, lists 16 months of aging in French oak, 25 percent of it new.

The producer describes layered aromas of ripe red cherry, pomegranate and cola, with flavors of juicy strawberry and rhubarb pie carried through a lingering, dusty tannic finish. It credits the sandy loam soils of the appellation for balanced natural acidity and richness.
