The Padrón Black No. 97 is a 6¾ x 54 torpedo from the Padrón Black series. The Padrón family created it to honor José O. Padrón's 97th birthday and describes it as a limited production cigar, packed ten to a box. Padrón lists it with a 93 from Cigar Aficionado (May/June 2025).
It is a Nicaraguan puro made at Tabacos Cubanica S.A. in Estelí. Padrón describes the flavor as exceptionally smooth, complex, balanced and full-bodied, and every band is individually numbered to guard against counterfeits.
