The Padrón Black No. 99 is a 6¾ x 60 round gordo from the Padrón Black series, here in the sun-grown Natural wrapper. The Padrón family created it in honor of José O. Padrón's 99th birthday and describes it as a limited production cigar, packed ten to a box.
It is a Nicaraguan puro, wrapper, binder and filler all from Nicaragua, made at Tabacos Cubanica S.A. in Estelí. Padrón describes the flavor as exceptionally smooth, complex, balanced and full-bodied, and every band is individually numbered to guard against counterfeits.
