Plasencia Alma del Campo Travesía Toro Extra is the 6½ x 54 box-pressed toro extra in Plasencia's Alma del Campo line. Plasencia calls it smooth, with coffee, cream, nuts and spice, plus rich chocolate, toasted nuts and sweet wood.

Alma del Campo, “soul of the country,” is the second line of Plasencia's Alma series. It was shown at the 2017 IPCPR trade show and shipped that August, halfwheel reported. Plasencia says every leaf comes from the sandy red soil of the Jalapa Valley, grown from Cuban Habano seed for the family alone, and that the line honors Finca La Limonera, where Don Sixto II Plasencia Pérez planted Habano seed after the family left Cuba. It is rolled at Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Estelí and packed 10 to a box whose lid doubles as an ashtray.

The Travesía is a 6½ x 54 toro extra in the box-pressed version Plasencia released in fall 2020, which it described as a creamier, smoother take on the blend, halfwheel reported. Cigar Aficionado scored the box press 89 points in April 2021 and rated it medium.
