Roseisle 12 Year Special Release Scotch Whisky

Roseisle 12 Year Special Release Scotch Whisky is only the second official single malt release from Roseisle, issued in the Special Releases 2024 as "Origami Kite II." Three spirit streams, matured in different cask types, are married here, with first-fill ex-bourbon and refill American oak in play. It is bottled at natural cask strength, 55.6% ABV (111.2 proof).

The distillery sits in northern Speyside, west of Elgin; it was completed in 2009 and opened in 2010. Honeyed vanilla, fresh citrus and delicate florals make up the nose. Creamy toffee and sweet orchard fruit fill the palate with gentle spice and a touch of oak, and the smooth finish lingers with soft vanilla, toasted almond and oak.
