San Lotano Maduro Torpedo is the 6 1/2 x 52 figurado in AJ Fernandez's maduro expression of the family blend. A dark, oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper covers a Honduran binder and Nicaraguan and Honduran long fillers, rolled in Estelí. Medium in body and creamy, it shows cocoa, espresso and spice with black pepper and a sweet earthiness.
The tapered head concentrates the maduro sweetness, which sits well beside a bourbon with a caramel finish or an espresso at the Sun of a Gun bar. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the box of 20.
