Sea Sun Pinot Noir is a California Pinot Noir made by winemaker Charlie Wagner, whose family founded Caymus Vineyards. The grapes come from coastal regions of California, where Pacific breezes and steady sun extend the growing season. The winery names Monterey, Solano and San Luis Obispo counties as sources and notes that sourcing may shift from vintage to vintage. The wine is lightly oaked.

Sea Sun describes a layered Pinot Noir with a soft, silky texture. The winery lists scents of cherry, light toasted wood, dry earth and clove, flavors of cherry and raspberry, and a finish that evokes milk chocolate and cherry compote.
