Siete Leguas Blanco Tequila
Siete Leguas Blanco Tequila is an unaged blanco of 100% Blue Weber agave from Tequila Siete Leguas (NOM 1120), established in 1952 in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco.
The agave is crushed by stone tahona, with a roller mill alongside, and fermented together with its fibers before double distillation in copper pot stills. Cooked agave, citrus, lime zest, spearmint and a mineral note shape the nose. Agave sweetness, lime, vanilla and jalapeño spice fill the palate over a thread of minerality, and the long finish is herbaceous, with black pepper and citrus.
