Stoli Elit Vodka

Stoli Elit Vodka was created in 2003 by Stoli Group at the Latvijas Balzams distillery in Riga, Latvia, and is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). It is made from 100% wheat and water from natural Riga wells.

Its defining step is freeze filtration at -18°C, the "Eighteen" on the label, which follows filtration through birch charcoal, silver and quartz sand. The vodka then rests for six days.

Delicate grain, subtle anise, lemon zest and white pepper form the nose. The palate is soft and silky, with almond, vanilla cream and light pepper, and the finish is long, clean and silken, with a slight sweetness.
