Substance Pinot Noir is a Columbia Valley Pinot Noir from Substance, the Washington brand founded by winemaker Charles Smith and introduced in 2015. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir. Substance is now part of O'Neill Vintners & Distillers, which describes the wines as made with small-batch techniques including natural fermentations and barrel aging, and bottled unfiltered. The brand produces Washington appellated wines.

The winery describes the wine as cloaked in wild strawberry, hibiscus and oyster mushroom, with a lavish palate of rose petal, red cherry and orange zest.
