The Botanist Gin is an Islay Dry Gin distilled at Bruichladdich on the Scottish island of Islay and bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof). It was first released in 2010.

Twenty-two wild Islay botanicals, foraged by hand, augment nine classic gin botanicals of berries, barks, seeds and peels. Distillation takes place in a Lomond still nicknamed "Ugly Betty."

Fresh juniper and citrus peel open the nose, with wildflowers, meadow herbs, mint and pine resin. The palate is rich and mellow, joining juniper and citrus with wild honey and summer flowers, and the finish is medium and drying, with wild mint and restrained spice.
