Wayfarer The Estate Chardonnay 2022
Wayfarer The Estate Chardonnay 2022 is an estate Chardonnay from Wayfarer Vineyard in the Fort Ross-Seaview appellation of Sonoma County, California, made by winemaker Todd Kohn. The fruit was picked by hand before dawn and fermented with native yeast in French oak barrels, 52 percent of them new. The wine aged on its lees for 15 months and was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
The winery describes a nose of white peach, nectarine, Meyer lemon curd and pear, accented by honeysuckle, toasted hazelnut and wet river stone. Wayfarer notes a fresh, nervy palate with vibrant acidity and a touch of richness, finishing with lingering minerality.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we offer it by the bottle. Our cellar changes as bottles are opened and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
