WhistlePig 12 Year Old World Rye Whiskey spends 12 years in new American oak before being divided among three wine-cask finishes: Madeira (63%), Sauternes (30%) and Port (7%). It is bottled at 86 proof.

WhistlePig describes it as an American rye styled by Old World sensibilities. Caramel, vanilla and winter fruit rise on the nose; rye spice leads the palate with apricot, plum, raisin, date and honey, and the finish brings dark chocolate, winter fruit, caramel and vanilla.
