Short answer: the Padrón 1926 Serie is full-bodied: box-pressed, built from Nicaraguan tobacco aged five years, and released for José O. Padrón's 75th birthday. See stock on our 1926 Serie page.
What makes the 1926 different
Five years of aging instead of the 1964's four, and a blend pushed further toward strength. Expect dark chocolate, espresso, earth and leather, with the smoothness aging buys.
The sizes we stock
- No. 9 — the robusto, and a natural place to start.
- No. 35 — the short smoke.
- 40th Anniversary Torpedo and 80th Anniversary Perfecto — the limited releases.
Natural or Maduro
Same blend underneath. Natural brings white pepper, coffee and cedar; Maduro is darker, with chocolate, espresso and leather.
1926 or 1964?
The 1964 is medium to full and the easier everyday smoke. The 1926 is full-bodied and more intense. Both are box-pressed and both carry an individually numbered band.

Why the numbered band?
