Gold Star Gordo is the 6 x 60 gordo in the Gold Star line.
Gold Star is a United Cigars brand made by the Ventura family at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic. First introduced in 1995, it lay dormant until 2024, when United released a limited 6 x 54 honoring the U.S. Navy SEALs that raised over $30,000 for the Navy SEAL Gold Star Program. It became a regular-production line in 2025, and each cigar is aged a full year before it ships.
United gives the blend as an Ecuador Habano 2000 Intermedio wrapper from the Quevedo region over an Indonesian Sumatra binder, with Dominican ligero, Criollo '98 and Corojo '98 and Connecticut Broadleaf in the filler, and describes the cigar as medium-bodied. The boxes are matte black, 20 cigars each, with the gold star on the lid and the size printed in gold on the front.

What does Gold Star taste like? United's release describes cocoa, almond, honey and cinnamon in a medium-bodied cigar. Cigar Coop found natural tobacco, earth, baker's spice and white pepper in the Toro; halfwheel found croissant, pepper, cream and honey graham in the Robusto.
