Willy Herrera built the Brazilian Maduro to put Mata Fina front and center. It's a Brazilian leaf most makers hide in the binder or filler; here it's the wrapper, over a Connecticut River Valley Broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan filler. The result is dark and earthy with a floral edge: cocoa, coffee, pepper and leather.
The Toro Especial at 6 x 54 gives the blend its full runway.
