Montosa Maduro Robusto is the 4 7/8 x 50 robusto in the Montosa line.
Montosa is made by Arnold André at Arnold André Dominicana in the Dominican Republic. The German house traces its roots to the Gebr. André tobacco factory, founded in Osnabrück in 1817, and has made its long-filler cigars at its own Dominican factory since 2011. United's release says the tobaccos come from the Cibao Valley. United launched Montosa in the U.S. at the TPE trade show in January 2022 and added the 6 x 60 Gigante in April 2025.
Montosa Maduro wears a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Brazilian binder, with Dominican, Brazilian and Nicaraguan filler. United's 2025 release calls it “medium-bodied” with “full flavor,” and The Cigar Authority, a retailer, named Montosa Maduro its 2022 Cigar of the Year. The cigars come 20 to a green box with MONTOSA in gold script.
