The Rocky Patel Edge Habano Toro, launched in 2012, is the Nicaraguan puro of the Edge family: a smooth Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over binder and filler from Estelí, Condega and Jalapa. Medium-bodied and well constructed, it offers crisp notes of almond, cedar and spice with an easy draw and reliable consistency.
It is the most approachable of the Edge wrappers, a good choice for the afternoon. At Sun of a Gun it pairs with a lighter bourbon, a Highland Scotch or a cortado. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the tray of 100.
