Terra Nova Araperique Short Robusto is the 3 7/8 x 54 short robusto in the Terra Nova line.

Terra Nova is made by Arnold André at Arnold André Dominicana in the Dominican Republic. The German house traces its roots to the Gebr. André tobacco factory, founded in Osnabrück in 1817, and has made its long-filler cigars at its own Dominican factory since 2011. United's Oliver Nivaud says Arnold André created Terra Nova for the U.S. market; United launched it here at the TPE trade show in January 2022, in two blends, Araperique and Dark Fired Kentucky.

The Araperique blend is built around Arapiraca tobacco from Brazil, fermented the way Perique is, under high pressure in barrels; United's launch release described a year in oak whisky barrels. It is a Perique-style fermentation of Brazilian leaf, not Louisiana Perique. Dominican, Peruvian and Nicaraguan tobacco complete the filler, under an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper; at launch the blend was described as medium-bodied. The cigars come in cellophane, 20 to a black wooden box with a lift lid.

The Short Robusto is the smallest Terra Nova, 3 7/8 x 54, one of the four sizes the line launched with in 2022.
