Short answer: Nub is Oliva's short, thick format — 4 inches by 60 ring — built so the cigar starts at its sweet spot instead of taking an inch to get there. See what is in stock on our Oliva page.
The idea behind Nub
Most cigars hit their best stretch somewhere in the middle. Nub's shape compresses the blend so that stretch arrives at the first light and holds. It smokes longer than its size suggests, because the ring gauge is wide.
The Nub blends we carry
- Nub Connecticut 460 — Connecticut wrapper, mild and creamy.
- Nub Cameroon 460 — African Cameroon wrapper, cedar and sweet spice.
- Nub Habano 460 — Habano wrapper, medium to full.
- Nub Maduro 460 — Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper, dark and sweet.
Nub Nuance
The coffee-leaning Nub, in three roasts: Single Roast under Connecticut Shade, and Double and Triple Roast under Sumatra. Milder than the core Nub line and built for the morning.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a Nub last?
Longer than it looks. The 60 ring gauge means it burns slowly despite the four-inch length.
