Nub Nuance cigars from our walk-in humidor in Yuma, Arizona: the Single Roast, Double Roast and Triple Roast, each in the classic 4 x 60 Nub 460. Oliva introduced the line in 2014 as Nub Café, coffee-infused Nubs shown at the IPCPR trade show, and renamed it Nuance in 2016. Each roast has its own wrapper and blend. Blends come from Nub's blend chart, as given on our product pages. The Double Roast is the only Nuance with Dominican binder and filler.
Why a Nub is 4 x 60
Sam Leccia and Oliva launched Nub in 2008 to isolate a cigar's sweet spot, the section Cigar Aficionado describes as the most flavorful and balanced, which on an average cigar falls around 3½ to 4 inches in. When Nub launched, Cigar Aficionado reported that no Nub would be longer than four inches. Every Nuance is the 460: four inches long at a 60 ring gauge. Open the wide head with a punch or a cutter rated for 60.

Nub suggests a subtly sweet cappuccino with the Single Roast.
