Choosing an Antaño
- For a full sitting: the Robusto Grande, 5½ x 52.
- Short and thick: the Gran Cónsul, 4¾ inches long at a 60 ring, with a tapered head.
- For a short break: the Antaño tin, the full-strength choice among Joya's tins.
At 5 out of 5 on Joya's strength scale, Antaño suits a smoker who already enjoys full-bodied cigars; more are on full-bodied cigars and Nicaraguan cigars.
What to pour with Antaño
We found no drink pairings from Joya de Nicaragua. Our house suggestion from the bar, as on our Joya page: a barrel-proof bourbon or a rye. Our cigar and whiskey pairing guide keeps the house rule of matching body first. In the lounge, ask the bar for a pour from the spirits menu.
Keeping them fresh
Store them at a steady 65 to 70 percent relative humidity, in a humidor or a sealed bag with a two-way humidity pack. Every order ships with a Boveda humidity pack, and our cigar storage guide covers the rest.
