Arizona air is dry for much of the year, so keep your cigars sealed. Every order arrives with a Boveda pack; move the cigars into a humidor or a sealed container with the pack, out of heat and sunlight. Driving to San Diego on Interstate 8? The lounge is on the way, at 1651 S Arizona Ave in Yuma: a walk-in humidor, a bar with a 300-bottle spirits menu and handcrafted cocktails, and a patio beer garden. Hours are Sunday to Thursday 9 AM to 11 PM and Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 1 AM.

Tequila, mezcal and the cigar

Our bar pours 36 tequilas and 12 mezcals. House suggestions: a rich añejo such as Clase Azul Añejo or Don Julio 1942 beside a Padrón 1926 Serie No. 9 in Maduro; a smoky mezcal such as El Jolgorio or Montelobos beside a Liga Privada T52 Toro; and for a nightcap, our El Cubano, aged tequila and espresso.
