Rocky Patel Sun Grown and Sun Grown Maduro cigars from our walk-in humidor in Yuma, Arizona: the Sun Grown Toro and Gordo, and the Sun Grown Maduro Gordo. They are two different cigars. Sun Grown, from late 2004, wraps Honduran tobacco in a five-year-aged Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf and is made at El Paraíso in Danlí, Honduras; Rocky Patel calls it medium-plus in body. Sun Grown Maduro, from 2015, is a triple-capped Connecticut Broadleaf cigar rolled at TAVICUSA in Estelí, Nicaragua, and its Robusto was No. 2 on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 for 2016.
