Don Pepin Garcia and El Rey de los Habanos

José "Pepin" García was born in Cuba in 1950 and rolled his first cigar at 11, says My Father Cigars, his family's company. In 2003 he opened a small Miami factory, El Rey de los Habanos, with his son Jaime and daughter Janny; Cigar Aficionado placed it on Calle Ocho in Little Havana. The family's Nicaraguan factory, My Father Cigars S.A., is in Estelí; My Father says the family moved its operation there in 2009, and Cigar Aficionado inducted Pepin into its Hall of Fame in 2022. The Series JJ 20th Anniversary

Series JJ 20th Anniversary marks two decades of the line. Cigar Aficionado reported in July 2025 that each box holds 17 cigars: 16 Toros at 6½ x 52 in a Corojo '99 wrapper that My Father calls Rosado, and one Salomon at 7¼ x 57 in a darker leaf. Only 2,500 boxes were made, at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Cigar Aficionado says, and halfwheel reports that My Father describes it as "3/4 to full" in strength. We sell it by the single and the 5-pack.
