The original Java
Java began with the Maduro in 2006. Java Latte followed under a silky Connecticut wrapper, Java Mint was announced in 2011, and Java Red was announced in 2017 as the fourth blend. Rocky Patel distributes Java, and it is one of the few Rocky Patel lines made outside his own factories. In 2017 Rocky Patel also announced the round 4 x 32 x-press, sold in tins of 10; halfwheel reported the company's estimate of about 10 minutes to smoke one. Every Java blend we stock is compared on our Java by Rocky Patel page.

What to pour with Java Maduro
Rocky Patel's own pairing is a rich cup of coffee, and our lounge Pairing Menu sets Java beside an espresso-based cocktail. Our house suggestions for the darker coffee blends are an espresso martini or El Cubano (aged tequila and espresso), and after dinner an aged rum, which our pairing guides set beside dark maduro wrappers. In the lounge, ask the bar for a pour from the spirits menu.
Keeping them fresh
Infused cigars share their aroma, so keep Java in its own box or humidor drawer, away from unflavored cigars, at a steady 65 to 70 percent relative humidity. Every order ships with a Boveda humidity pack, and our cigar storage guide covers the rest.
