Latte, Maduro, Mint and Red
Java comes in four blends. Java Maduro, the original Java, introduced in 2006, wears a thick Brazilian wrapper and is rated Mild + by Rocky Patel. Latte is the one under Connecticut, and the mildest of the four on Rocky Patel's scale. Java Mint, announced in 2011, adds mint, and Java Red, announced in 2017 as the fourth blend, leads with cherry. Java is one of the few Rocky Patel lines made outside his own factories. Every Java blend we stock is compared on our Java by Rocky Patel page.
Java Latte sizes and prices

Choosing a Java Latte size
- The short coffee break: the Petite Corona, 4½ x 38, 40 to a box.
- Slim, with the Connecticut leaf in front: the Corona, 5 x 42. In a slimmer cigar the wrapper carries more of the flavor.
- The everyday size: the Robusto, 5½ x 50.
- The longest: the Toro, 6 x 50, the size in the Java 4-Cigar Sampler.
- The widest ring: The 58, 5 x 58, the heaviest ring Java makes.
Every coffee-infused cigar we list is on coffee cigars, and more mild cigars from every brand on mild cigars.
What to pour with Java Latte
Rocky Patel's own pairing is a rich cup of coffee, and our lounge Pairing Menu sets Java beside an espresso-based cocktail. For a whiskey, our house suggestion is a smooth Irish whiskey, a mild pour for a mild cigar. In the lounge, ask the bar for a pour from the spirits menu.
Keeping them fresh
Infused cigars share their aroma, so keep Java in its own box or humidor drawer, away from unflavored cigars, at a steady 65 to 70 percent relative humidity. Every order ships with a Boveda humidity pack, and our cigar storage guide covers the rest.
