Los Gloriosos, Spanish for the glorious ones, reunites La Gloria Cubana with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, whose family built the brand, and it is made at his Casa Carrillo factory in the Dominican Republic: an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The maker describes leather, espresso, spice and cocoa with an earthy finish, and Cigar Insider scored the Gigante 92. Choose a single, a 5-pack or a box of 20 on each product page.

The third reunion
La Gloria Cubana says Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Sr. launched the brand in the United States in 1972, from the family's El Credito Cigar Factory, and the family sold El Credito and the brand to Swedish Match in 1999. The brand and Ernesto Perez-Carrillo came back together twice before, for Re+United in 2014 and Colección Reserva in 2017, both limited, Cigar Coop reports. Los Gloriosos, which Forged Cigar Company introduced at the 2025 PCA trade show in New Orleans, is the first of the three made as a full-time line, and it is rolled at his own factory, the former Tabacalera La Alianza, now Casa Carrillo. Los Gloriosos sizes and prices

Gigante, 6 x 60: Cigar Insider scored it 92 in October 2025 and rated it medium-full: strong leather with dark chocolate, nuts and coffee, and a nutty almond finish.
Toro, 6 x 50: Cigar Aficionado scored it 89 in February 2026 and rated it medium-full, with sweet, spicy gingerbread and dried dark fruit over wood and coffee. Cigar Coop scored it 87 in April 2026, finding natural tobacco, cedar, wood, earth and white pepper early, at medium strength and body; its reviewer found the second half less balanced.

We found no drink pairing from the maker, so this is our house suggestion: a bourbon or an aged rum, with the sweetness to meet the cocoa and coffee, or a dark roast coffee in the afternoon.
