Chambord

Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur from the Loire Valley in France, bottled at 16.5% ABV (33 proof). It is an infusion of raspberries and blackberries with French cognac.

The blend is flavored with Madagascar vanilla, Moroccan citrus peel, honey and herbs, a considered set of accents around the fruit. In the glass, sweet black raspberry leads, followed by blackberry and a soft close of vanilla, the berries and cognac drawn together in one polished liqueur.
