Luxardo Maraschino is the house's Maraschino Originale, a cherry liqueur from Luxardo of Torreglia, Padua, bottled at 32% ABV (64 proof). Girolamo Luxardo created the formula in 1821 in Zara, and the company moved to Torreglia in 1947.

Marasca cherries are infused for up to three years in larch vats, then distilled in copper pot stills; maturation follows in ash-wood vats. The spirit is crystal clear, and the bottle is still hand-wrapped in straw at the company. Marasca cherry and a roasted nuttiness mark the nose, while the palate is smooth yet sharp, with dark chocolate, vanilla and orange marmalade.
