Prometheus X FL-Magma T22 Chrome Vertical Lines
The Magma T22 dresses Prometheus's signature table lighter in chrome with engine-turned vertical lines. Introduced in 2010 and, per Prometheus, its best-selling table lighter, the Magma T pairs a wind-resistant triple torch flame with patented built-in double punch cutters, so one piece on the table handles both the cut and the light.
The bright chrome and fine vertical lines suit a leather-and-wood study or a modern bar top equally well. At 3.6 by 2.8 inches it has real presence, a large fuel window with a blue gauge shows the butane level, and Prometheus backs it with a limited two-year warranty and lifetime repair service.
In its review of the 2011 God of Fire edition, halfwheel found two punches of different sizes that swing out from the base, together handling roughly 44 to 60 ring gauge. Prometheus cites U.S. Patents 6,298,856 and 6,732,741 for the punch, and engraves the model name, edition year and patent numbers on the bottom.

How to use it
Choose the punch nearest the cigar's ring gauge and press it gently into a rounded head; pointed torpedo heads call for a straight cut instead. The flame adjuster doubles as the tool for pushing the tobacco plug out of the punch afterward. Read our guide to refilling a butane lighter and our cutter guide. A fitted Prometheus leather case for the Magma T keeps the chrome unmarked.
