Taylor Fladgate Fine Tawny Port
Taylor Fladgate Fine Tawny Port is a wood aged Port from Portugal's Douro Valley, made by Taylor Fladgate, a house established in 1692. The producer draws it from wines selected for their smoothness and mellow character, ages them for up to three years in oak casks in its cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, and blends them a few months before bottling.
Taylor Fladgate describes a pale brick colour with a broad amber rim, a mellow nose of ripe berry fruit with butterscotch, figs, prunes and nutty, spicy aromas, and a smooth, round palate with rich strawberry jam flavours. The house suggests serving it slightly chilled.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, it is served at the lounge. Our cellar changes as bottles are opened and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
